Sunday
My folks and in-laws came over yesterday to help out around the house. My in-laws did some weeding, my dad came over to paint a couple of doors and my mom helped tackle this laundry situation. You know, she’s no-nonsense and helped get this place looking presentable.
My folks were here until about 9. I was through. My lower back was so tight, my waddle was mean and I could hardly walk anymore. I did some stretches leaning over the bed and that alleviated a lot of the pressure.
All week Parker has been claiming Beau is coming on Sunday. Well, it’s Sunday! We’re going to skip going to church so we can continue prepping just in case Parker is correct.
Tuesday
In a few days, we’ll be at the hospital preparing to meet the newest member of the Bradley family! We’re so close! I’m keeping it moving around the house but taking my time. I mean I guess if I start labor earlier than Friday it’s not a problem but I’m fine staying on course at the point and getting as much housework done as possible. I need to order some supplies for the house so we can wrap up a few projects before our due date.
I am grateful for the handful of incredibly supportive girlfriends I have that have shown nothing but love this entire journey. From feeling like this wouldn’t happen for us again, to getting pregnant and making it this far., I feel blessed. It’s true, every pregnancy is different. I had a particularly hard time allowing myself to be excited about this pregnancy in the beginning; in preparation for labor, I’ve been focused on methods to keep myself calm so I can have a peaceful and loving birth.
