Tuesday

This pregnancy started out so cute and now….(sigh) I’ve got a mean waddle with the occasional limp haha Okay so I probably should’ve invested in a pregnancy belt a while ago. Probably would’ve helped with the off-and-on hip pain I’ve been having. So last night, when I sat up in bed to go to the bathroom, I heard my left hip pop. I didn’t think much of it because my joints are always poppin’ and lockin’. But then I stood up to walk. I couldn’t extend my leg all the way. Wtf. It’s been like that all morning. I haven’t stretched this morning but I’m hoping that once I do I’ll feel better. We have a full day of activities and plan on going to the beach so a fully functioning hip would be ideal. On top of that, I’m 8.5 months pregnant and my balance is already off. I know this sounds crazy but I’d still do this all over again. Hip pain and all. I’d probably just get one of the belts and pregnancy balls sooner than later.

The beach kicked my ass today. There was a vendor market that ran from 3-8pm. I got there at 1pm to scope the scene and do some preliminary setup before Brian got there. I overestimated my ability to set up the tent myself and not a single person there thought to offer help. Here I am, big as a house, trying to bend over and crawl up underneath a tent in damn near 90-degree weather, and not a single person offered to help me. I wasn’t going to beg but seriously?! Anyhow, Brian arrived maybe half an hour later and his folks showed up shortly after that with a foldable table for us to use. That was their second trip up to drop off stuff for us for this event. An event that ended up being kind of a wash.

Wednesday

I’m so glad we made it to 37 weeks with no issues.  Even saying to myself, “We just need to make it to 37 weeks. That way if he comes early, he’s pretty much fully developed.” Now that we’re here, I keep telling my little guy to sit tight for a couple more weeks. I mean, I would love to make it full term. 

Friday

We just left our second to last Ob appointment and everything is looking good.
