At home, daytime crafts for us need to be simple with easy clean-up and these seasonal mini-craft kits fit the bill. Each kit runs about $5 at Target and are for ages 3 and up.This kit made four cutesy Valentine’s Day inspired character critters and did not require any glue. Yay! Everything was either fold and tuck or peel and stick. Instructions are included if you choose to design them as directed, which we did the first time around and we spent about 25 minutes doing so. We took our time to identify the different colors and shapes. Parker was so proud of his work he wanted to take pictures of them. Simple, cheap, easy and fun!

Parker has consistently shown an interest in photography over the past few months and prefers to use Brian’s camera instead of the kids camera he received for his birthday. Brian had a break in his work day and was able to come upstairs to help Parker line up his shots and take photos of his artwork.
